Genre blog tasks:

 Q1: They can efficiently convey meaning without the need of countless text which may confuse the reader.

Q2: They let us sort out types of movies films radios etc into different stylistic choices.

Q3: The disaster genre is mostly impending/foreshadowed disaster as the primary version of that plot and movie whereas action genre is generally very fast paced and have a lot of fight scenes and violence it even has slow motion shots to amplify that sense of danger the character is in.

Q4: Conventions iconography narrative characters and setting.

Q5: Genre is used to differentiate the pleasures and interests that the audience has for example if they like the action genre they're more likely to watch more action movies.

Q6: Genre is used to map out the basic conventions of the film that will make it that genre its a good method to ready your movie out and make sure it is that genre.

Q7: A old western movie typically has a bar or a duel with revolvers.i may have horses being ridden cowboy hats those are the main conventions of a western old film.

Q10:superheroes were seen as powerful which is a conventional genre then superheroes were given mental and psychological problems that their powers can’t deal with this is a deconstruction/parody genre.

Q11:Mr robot is a show about winning against yourself and how winning against the system brings your life further it’s shown through the protagonist Elliot alderson who suffers from identity disorder and has created multiple personalities of himself in order to cope against the traumatic events he has suffered.

Q12: Scrolling through social media I came across a recommendation for this series. 

Q13: As this was recommended as one of the best tv shows to date I had to watch and see the beauty many has seen and it didn’t disappoint.

Q14: Tolson genre as this is a story that derives off the original tech genre as this smart polite and is perfect Elliot is the exact opposite of the typical tech protagonist.

Q15: An amazing watch that brought a whole new perspective to life and how to live with it if your going to stay the same be that best same person to the fullest.

Q16: The themes of Mr robot focus on capitalism corporate greed and income disparities between society's richest and poorest. 

Q17: It isnt typical and is very unique and doesn't stick to the conventions of that genre and explores others.

Q18: Normally i would expect a nerdy protagonist who is smart and is nice but this protagonist is different and is regarded by many as special and quite scary.

Q20: There is a princess in the story although she isn't a typical princess and also suffers from traumatic events.

Q21: Having the protagonist do morally bad things which can also portray him as the villain even though hes the protagonist. 

Q22: To portray and demonstrate the fake that is within us in society it  opposes the norm and thus explores unspoken and unheard topics that are dangerous to talk about.

Q23: Its more of a psychological thriller and drama rather than a tech genre.

Q24: The constant use of dramatic music and eerie sounds in the series and the alarming plot twists that force you off track.

Q25: This show was aimed at the working class and the inequality they suffer in silence.

Q26: The main character actually speaks to us in a non diagetic way almost as if we are his friend .

Q27:A friend someone who understands what the protagonist is going through and sympathises with them.

Q28: The show assumes im working class mid 20s or higher male or female and any ethnicity.

Q29: It assumes i understand coding and it is thoroughly used throughout the show.

Q32: a main character with spit personality: his real self and his alter ego which can be consider as more wild, violent and free. the alter ego is planning a total colapse of the financial system by blowing up they headquarters.

Q33: Elliot actually creates more alter personality rather than just two and the show is mainly focused on coding rather than fight club.

MIGRAIN: Narrative

Q1: The film Moana starts off as peaceful and in harmony and is a perfect example of equilibrium then Moana disregards her parents and friends' advice on becoming chief of the village and instead sets out for sea to search for happiness and adventure which disrupts equilibrium and gives multiple problems to the protagonist which struggles throughout the movie.
